Featured insight: the AI in Marketing Report is live
Our Q2 2026 AI in Marketing Report is now available. We surveyed 124 marketing professionals and 93 hiring leaders across Australia, and the headline finding is clear: marketers are moving faster than the organisations around them. 88% of candidates already use AI regularly, yet only 28% of organisations have a formal AI policy.
The hiring gap: there's a significant disconnect in how AI shows up in recruitment - 35% of candidates report AI wasn't discussed during the process, while 46% of organisations believe they mentioned it.
Skills priority: critical evaluation (70%) and strategic thinking (58%) rank above prompt engineering (54%) as the skills marketers see as most essential going forward.
