What the job entails

You’ll drive new business growth by identifying and securing SME customers across domestic and international freight solutions. Working directly with business owners and decision makers, you’ll lead consultative conversations that uncover opportunities to improve logistics performance, reduce costs and streamline operations. From prospecting through to closing and onboarding, you’ll manage the full sales cycle while building long-term client relationships that support ongoing growth.

Key responsibilities include:

· Prospecting and developing new SME business opportunities within the freight and logistics industry

· Managing the full sales cycle from discovery and solution design through to closing and activation

· Conducting consultative conversations with business owners to understand freight challenges and opportunities

· Presenting tailored shipping solutions leveraging InXpress’ global carrier partnerships

· Building strong long-term client relationships to support retention and account growth

· Working closely with client and internal operational teams to deliver best in class solutions and ensure seamless client service

· Maintaining an active pipeline and reporting on sales performance and opportunities

Key requirements / What we look for

  • 0–3 years’ experience in sales, account management or logistics.

  • Strong hunter mentality and work ethic.

  • Coachable, sociable and professional.

  • Excellent negotiation, presentation and communication skills.

  • Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

  • Self-motivated, results-driven and organised in a fast-paced environment.

  • Freight/logistics experience is advantageous, but not essential.

This role suits an ambitious sales professional who enjoys building relationships, solving commercial challenges and driving new business growth.
