Private Client Sales Manager: bring new investors into a multi-billion-dollar property platform
This is your chance to own new capital raising for a well-established commercial property investment business. It creates and manages unlisted property trusts for wholesale investors, high-net-worth individuals and self-managed super funds, and it raises capital through a rolling pipeline of new offers. Now it needs a genuine new-business specialist to find new investors, build a strong pipeline and convert opportunities into commitments.
The impact
In your first 6–12 months, you’ll:
Get across the live capital raises quickly and work existing leads through to commitment
Learn the fund range in depth, including each offer’s return profile, timing and risks
Build a strong pipeline of new prospective investors through consistent outbound activity
Bring new investors into the business, broadening the base beyond the existing database
Turn existing relationships into reinvestment and referrals
What you’ll do
Own capital raising initiatives, with a primary focus on securing new investment from sophisticated investors
Generate and qualify opportunities through high-volume outbound calling, prospecting, networking and follow-up of digital enquiries
Run investor meetings and presentations that communicate each opportunity clearly and secure commitments
Explain the differences between income-focused and growth-focused offers accurately, without crossing into financial advice
Build long-term relationships with investors and wealth managers that drive repeat investment and referrals
Contribute to investor-facing materials and feed market insight back into sales and marketing campaigns
Keep the CRM accurate and report on conversion, pipeline value and capital raised, with every interaction compliant
What you need
5+ years in sales or business development, ideally in financial services, property, real estate or a related industry
A proven record of achieving or exceeding sales, business development or capital raising targets
A strong track record in outbound prospecting, pipeline development and closing
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills
High attention to detail and a genuine commitment to compliance (AFSL, ASIC and AUSTRAC requirements)
Intermediate Excel and CRM skills
Nice to have (bonus, not required)
Experience engaging with high-net-worth individuals, sophisticated investors or wealth management networks
Exposure to unlisted property funds or capital raising
Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, finance, property, marketing or a related discipline
Strong candidates often hold back unless they tick every box. Please don’t. If you bring strong investor relations experience, we would still love to hear from you.
One honest note on fit: this role is about winning new business first and foremost. It suits someone energised by high-volume outbound activity and measurable targets, rather than someone looking for a purely account-management or client-service position.
Who you’ll work with
You’ll sit within the Investor Relations team, part of the business’s client and capital function.
You’ll work closely with the wider Investor Relations team and the asset management, capital transactions, finance and legal teams that support each fund offer.
